Hotels: The Closest hotel that we can suggest is the Hampton Inn Located in Green Hills,
2 plus miles from the campus at 2324 Crestmoor (South Nashville). Phone 615-777-0707. There are several hotels located at the I-65 and Old Hickory Blvd near Brentwood, including Hampton, Holiday Inn, Ameri-Suites, Marriot. Call the High School office for additional information. 1-615-269-1000. From the West Side, a couple of Motels near the intersection of I-40 and Charlotte.
For Early Arrivers: Food: Several Restaurants in the Green Hills Area: such as
Cheese Cake Factory, Cheeseburger Charlies, Krystal, Ruby Tuesdays, Wendy's, McDonalds. In the Melrose Area: Krystal, McDonalds, Captain D's, Fat Mo's. In the 100 Oaks area: Applebees, Calypso Cafe, Wendy's, Jersey Mikes. In the Belle Meade Area: Belle Meade Cafeteria, Taco Bell.
Shopping: In the 100 Oaks area: 100 Oaks Mall (Discount and Outlet Stores)
In the Green Hills Area: Green Hills Mall and various Strip Retail Centers:
Directions to the Football Stadium from Downtown Nashville: I-65 South exit Harding Place West (R). Turn Right at second traffic light (Lealand Lane) Football field will be on the left side of the road approximately 1 mile. Turn Left on Caldwell to enter Parking areas. The Football stadium is not located on the main campus. (But is close by.)
Directions to the Football Stadium from the West (entry from I-40) Take I-40 into the Nashville Area. Exit East at the White Bridge Rd/Robertson Ave exit. Continue on White Bridge Rd, the name will eventually change to Woodmont Ave. Crossing of major intersections: Charlotte, Harding, Hillsboro, Belmont, Granny White, turn right at the next major intersection, Lealand Lane, then right at 4-Way Stop at Caldwell Lane. Stadium on the left.
NEW PARKING REGULATIONS:
As of the 2007 Season a portion of the parking lot adjoining the stadium has been designated as RESERVED PARKING. As you enter the facility off of Caldwell lane, the area to the immediate left (outside of North endzone) is only available to those families who have purchased reserved seats. This portion of the lot has been blocked off and is manned by Lipscomb Security and the Mustang Booster Club. Any unused parking area will be made available to the general public at the end of the first quarter. There are no exceptions. Visiting Team and band busses will also park in this area.
General Parking: Parking is available in a lot off Caldwell Lane adjoining the east side of the stadium. Handicap parking is also available on site. Overflow parking is available in the grassy area behind the visitor stands on the east side on the field. The only fan entrance and ticket booth is behind the home side of the stadium. (Reserved Seat holders will have a special gate opened for their convenience.
Concessions: The concession stand is located on the main concourse just inside the ticket gate. The concession stand offers a full menu of Burgers, Hot Dogs, Nacho's, Candy, Popcorn and many other items new to this year's menu.
Restroom Facilities: Bathrooms are only located on the backside of the stadium just off the main concourse--near the concession stand.
Bring Your Radios: All Mustang Football games both home and away are carried live via the Lipscomb Sports Network over WKDA AM 900. You can also listen to the game of the in-house frequency of 101.5 FM. Can't make the trip, you can hear all of the live action on the internet here at the Mustangfanpage.
